Volunteer with Coronavirus Response Efforts in Madison County

Dear friends, neighbors and supporters. In trying times like these we feel a deep sense of gratitude and security in knowing that we are a part of a strong caring community. We are facing an unprecedented challenge with this global pandemic and we know the best way to get through it is by coming together as a community to support each other. We may have to stay isolated in some ways, but we can still come together to collectively get through this together!

To start, our primary focus will be delivering necessary supplies to those who cannot leave their homes. As this crisis unfolds we may expand what kind of services we will be looking to provide to meet the needs that arise. We will also be gathering donations of food, medical supplies, and other necessities. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please fill out this form and we will follow up with you:

If you are having trouble with the form or have any further questions you can contact: ruralorganizingandresilience@gmail.com

If you or someone you know is in need of a delivery please contact ‪(615) 628-7439‬ or the above email to make arrangements. If you have supplies to donate you can contact the same number and email address.

We also encourage everyone to take the initiative to check on people in your neighborhood so folks don’t fall through the cracks. Reach out to your local community center, fire department, and churches and find out what they are doing to support those in need and see how you can plug in.
